This week in room 1 we completed a holiday slow write about our favourite thing that we did in our holiday. I did my slow write about my birthday. I hope that you enjoy it. :)
“ Woohoo!, it's finally my birthday.” I felt so happy and excited that my birthday had finally come. Mmmm... I smelt chocolate cake. I heard pots clanging together.
Quickly I jumped out of my bed and ran down to the kitchen. What? Although it was My birthday, I didn't expect to get a huge chocolate cake and a mountain of presents. Quickly, eagerly and excitedly, I ran towards the chocolate cake and admired the candles. Why is it that my birthday only lasts a day? “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME - “WOOSH!”
